A Prenup/Family Portrait : Boy & Tina
Its never too late to have a prenup. And this is a perfect example of one. Boy & Tina already have 4 kids – some in college & high school already. And capturing their family portrait was also like an embodiment of a whole lot of memories together mixed with the excitement of them getting married soon.
Such a chillax and a happy bunch. Luv luv! ![]()
Pinto Art Gallery : Nap & Mutya
For those who love art, you are gonna have a blast at Pinto Art Gallery. You could just soak in the creativity & quiet atmosphere of the place. For those who love photos, soak in the candid & relaxed love of Nap & Mutya.
Mutya is also from Laguna & knows my sister and one of my former brides. What’s up with Laguna chicks, they are so cool.
Everything just fell naturally into place. From the booking to the prenup to the wedding.
Darwin & Rochelle : Pan De Amerikana
In this business of relationships, I really believe that there really should be a connection between a couple and their wedding photographer. The moment I had a skype call with Darwin and Rochelle (they are Melbourne based), I felt their warmth & openess and knew that this would spill all the way to their prenup & wedding day.
Quirky Quirkyness Prenup
Noel & Rae are like a little brother & sister to me. Noel’s quirky & weird (in a nice way) and we became friends in Imagine Nation Photography. He likes going to Laguna, and Garry & I just like talking to him about anything over grilled ribs. One day he tells he met this pretty girl at a wedding, and she’s a make-up artist – and so on.
Mike & Fides : Enderun Prenup
I’ve known Fides for over 6 years. We met each other when we were working as Account Managers for Kodak, became buddies, loved to eat out and just talk & talk & talk & laugh
As we’ve both witnessed each others life dramas unfold, I had fun watching her bloom into the relationship with Mike, whom she met at Electrolux. So when everyone found out he proposed, that was it – pansit.
Details. Details. Details. Beach Wedding of Carlo & Hyds.
I remember a conversation Hyds & I had in Boracay not so long ago as we were shooting a wedding there of how she wanted her wedding to be. And it didn’t come as a surprise when the day actually came that it had every personality to it as she had described – bohemian, beachy, shabby chic, eclectic. Done in a private estate in Batangas and on the lovely beach of Stilts.

Getting married in Laguna is a little like getting married in Boracay. You get that resort feel because of all the hot springs, it can get hot & humid, but instead of the beach, you get a lush green forest for your ceremony.
John & Jenn had a beautiful wedding at St. Mark Chapel way up in Mt. Makiling’s path to the National Arts Center. Which means, we got a view when we went up to the ‘peak’ & had some great couple portraits there.

Only in Los Banos can you have a birthday party under The Fertility Tree. Why its called that? Your guess could only be as wild as mine
How many of us would celebrate their kid’s first birthday like this? Not just for the novelty of it, but for the meaning behind it as Marcel had this birthday celebration with less fortunate kids.
Jopet & Jing : Fully Booked!
For me being in a bookstore is like a kid being let free to run in a toy store. It’s my next haven. That’s why when Jing & Jopet told me their prenup was going to be at Fully Booked I was really esctatic! It also helped that Jopet is a comic artist and we found just the perfect spot there!

Danica is really pretty in person & it was such a privilege to be able to capture her on her 7th month before giving birth. She was also an Imagine Nation bride so we had common ground to begin with. We did this shoot in Dina Bonevie’s house & that afternoon was just picture perfect for the family.

Babies always tickle that fuzzy bone within a lot of us. So I thought I’d add a little more LIFE shoots before I go on back to blogging about weddings. Here’s one cute baby I shot at 2 months. Welcome gorgeous baby Diarra!
Marry Me in May : Mike + May
After that lovely beach prenup at Hamilo Coast, Mike & May get married, in guess what month? – May!
Carlo + Kristina : Linden-UP-Tektite
Here’s Carlo & Kristina’s wedding
I loved how natural Kristina looked in the photos, especially next to Carlo – posting my favorites from that day. Your first kiss rocked guys!
Richard + Pauline : Acuatico Beach Wedding
Richard & Pauline had a lovely beach wedding at Acuatico Beach Resort, Laiya, Batangas. Pauline looked stunning in her Monique Lhuillier gown, and even more with Richard by her side.

You can get a glimpse into the personality of Anna & Reyval in this shoot. They’re the same but also totally opposite at the same time. Amping up the heat a little more in summer with these two.
Erick & Cheng : A Military Wedding
Cheng is probably the most kickass bride I’ve shot so far. I don’t know how she handles guns, breastfeeding & now being a wife & soldier at the same time. But she does it with so much feminine toughness which I have always admired in her since highschool.
Read More »Paul + Marica : Taytay & Antipolo, Rizal
This wedding rocked PINK. Paul Vincent & Marica are a young couple that got married in Taytay, Rizal & Antipolo. Ever since I met them during our pre-wedding meeting, there was always an air of excitement in them that I found all the way up to their wedding day.
Meet The Marasigans
If there is a family of talents, it could be found in the Marasigans : Allan, Peachy, Nicky, Keira.
Maico + Patty : La Huerta Estate
Good job to DIY couples who put a lot of personal touches in their wedding to make it uniquely theirs. This wedding has a lot of details into it, and it gives me a kick to capture them no matter how small. La Huerta Estate is a great place to get married. It has that rustic elegant appeal in the highlands of Antipolo.
Read More »Raed & Rita : Bacolod
Now let me see, what do we have in this wedding? A pair of Manolos, a VERY unique Veejay Floresca gown, one of the most romantic places to get married in Bacolod – The Ruins, and a gorgeous bride & groom – Rita & Raed.
Tony & Tess : St. Mark Chapel, National Arts Center
It’s picturesque here at National Arts Center, Los Banos, Laguna. A great place to come back to for anyone who grew up here & got touched by this place. She met Tony in Australia where she’s been living in the past years and the rest is (I don’t care how cliche this sounds) you know it … sweet history.
Adrian & Peachy : La Castellana Love
Adrian & Peachy got married on a cool December day at La Castellana. They are both Singapore-based and I was lucky to sit down with them over a cup of coffee there a few month before their wedding day. Loving the Lord and loving each other is a great combination in any relationship and I am just happy to have captured just that on their wedding day.
Rio & Azalea : Zamboanga
After their Muslim wedding, Rio & Azalea have the traditional ceremony in Zamboanga. I always have good memories of Zamboanga and shooting weddings there, so it was always great to go back. That day, the weather was just great for photographs & you could really see that tender sweetness in Rio & Azalea in their portraits.
A Muslim Wedding
If you have ever wondered how a Muslim wedding is like, check out Rio & Azalea’s ceremony here. It was solemn, and colorful at the same time. You just gotta love the traditions & richness of culture in this one.

I met Kristjan & Macy over a year ago when their friends Sven & Kertu from Estonia got married in the Philippines. When they went back to Estonia, they had a lovely wedding there and came back to the Philippines … initially for a vacation … but ended up also having a wedding! Everything was so fast, to think it all happened within 2 weeks preparation time.

Mike & Lara celebrate their day with preps at Mt. Makiling, a ceremony in Bay, Laguna and a grand reception at the National Arts Center, Los Banos. It’s amazing how creative Lara is, the whole ceremony & reception were her design. I never knew the church in Bay would look so royal & the National Arts Center so dressed up. Aside from running Berris Cuisine, she’s going to be a great events stylist.
Stephen + Glyze : Purpose Driven
Stephen and Glyze has been the couple organizing the Purpose Driven Photographer workshop in Singapore. During my stay there, they were very helpful & always ready to pose, introduced me to cereal shrimp and a whole lot of foodie stuff in SG. I was just happy to be able to shoot them on their day and see familiar faces like Donna and Joseph (all involved in Purpose Driven Photographer workshop).

Read More »Play of Light : Benro + Madel
I love it when hair & make-up ends early and there is enough time for solo portraits. This is where the fashion and just out of magazine look happens. Make-up is fresh, emotions are high with excitement & giddiness, and a sudden boost of creativity happens. Manila Peninsula has great light in the afternoon. It was a delight to capture Benro & Madel in this light. It set the mood for their day which was just gorgeous.
When God Writes Your Love Story : Arnold + Lady

When you let God write your love story, everything falls perfectly into place. Arnold & Lady have always been blessed with beautiful light. Ever since their prenup in UP Diliman, it just shined with awesome rays. And whenever they came home from Singapore to fix their wedding, the weather always cooperated. Which was no surprise that the same just continued to right up to their wedding day.

Sometimes there are some people who surprise you when they hook up and become a couple. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought these two to get together. Back in highschool Paeng was this geek whiz playing Dungeons and Dragons and Tina was, well, Tina – bubbly, giggly, funny. And life just happened separately for each of them for the next 10 years.

I remember Joyce asking me “do you believe in fairytales?” before she marched into the church door with Dariel waiting on the otherside. Dariel has been her first and only boyfriend & that day was a fairytale come true for the both of them.
Both are based abroad & both come from Batangas. Dariel is also into photography (attending photo workshops from a number of masters overseas) which always makes shooting a fellow photographer’s wedding day more challenging.
Read More »Philip + Gi : Splash Mountain Oasis

It’s lovely to reminisce previous weddings shot like that of Philip & Gi. I got to shoot their prenup but since I was already booked at an earlier time on the same day of their wedding, I just followed but was still lucky to be able to capture the magic of their special day.
Philip & Gi both have huge hearts for the Lord and for each other. It was easy to see how blessed they were when they got married. Congrats Philip & Gi!
Paul + Lynn : Santuario De San Antonio. Blue Leaf.

I believe that every couple that I get to shoot is not given to me by accident. I was delighted to find out that Lynn also works for Philips which is another company close to my heart. Talk about 6 degrees of separation - that everyone is on average approximately six steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person on Earth.
Boracay : Julien + Tess

Julien & Tess are as gorgeous as the beach they got married in : Boracay. They had a few parties before the actual wedding day with Julien’s family & friends from France and HK so there was already a lot of merriment going on.

I love love love beach weddings. Its the sand, the sea, the breeze that adds to the appeal of one. A perfect setting for Marlo & Joy who had a simple yet very heartfelt wedding at La Luz, Laiya, San Juan, Batangas.
Morning at The Mango Farm : Filbert + Mishi

There is just something about catching the sunrise on a morning wedding. Its the freshness of everything that lends to that appeal especially when its partnered with the detail that was put into Filbert & Mishi’s country-orchard wedding at The Mango Farm, Antipolo.
Rommel & Jenny : Roadtrip

Join Jenny & Rommel as they take a picturesque roadtrip to Laguna
JM + Jen : Moon Garden

There are just some weddings that captivate you…hold you… with the details & emotions. JM & Jen just had that – loving glances, great designs & lots of love around. I am a visual person, and the day I shot this, held me in awe every moment of the way. From the colors, to the flowers, to the tears & a rustic romantic atmosphere all day.
Cholo + Melanie : Bellevue, St. Jerome

I knew from the start that Cholo & Melanie would be a fun couple. From our prenup at Jurong Birdpark in Singapore to the wedding at St. Jerome & Bellevue Alabang, it was just pure fun & laughs during shots and in-between. Its so nice to look back at photos like this – gives you that warm feeling of laughter & love rolled into one.
Yves & Yen’s Chinese Victorian Encounter

This is something like a Chinese Emperor meets Victorian Princess. Yves wanted something Chinese & Yen something Victorian, so they headed over to get costumes at Camp Suki to dress up for both. And it turned out their prenup session is one of the visually stunning moments I’ve had the opportunity to capture.

Ben + Herlyn : Sassy. Romantic. Natural….Sexy.

I love it when my couples dress up for a shoot. Its their time to express themselves, be stylish, or make a fantasy come true. Ben & Herlyn became a little bit of what my style of photography is…
Sally : A Lifestyle Portrait

This is something that came out from Wisteria Lane. When I turn 60 – I’d love to have a house like this, a daughter sweet enough to give a pictorial like this, and an happy outlook in life that can be found in a smile like Sally’s.

Mike + Tanya

This is one wedding which has the sweetest first kiss, 6 years in the making. With a very heartfelt ceremony & celebration, it was all worth the wait.
Mike really looks like Ogie Alcasid also which is why I just loved how showbiz their posters looked at their reception area.
